  • Editorial Design

For this project, I was prompted to choose two articles with associated photographs from Bruce Davidson photography collection at Columbia College. The purpose of this project was to become familiar with editorial design work: how to design layouts, what serial components need to be included, what kinds of articles are featured, etc. The final step is to design two magazine spreads for the two different articles I selected (the designs should look somewhat like they belong in the magazines they were published in). Each page of your magazine will be letter sized, which is 8.5”x11”, so your spread will be 11”x17”.
